About the LUNCH BOX DERBY®
The Classroom Project
Fourth and fifth graders are being challenged to design, build and race model cars made entirely of fresh fruits and vegetables. We hope the Lunch Box Derby®, a hands-on classroom activity from the De Soto Farmers’ Market nutrition education program, will become an entertaining method to give grade schoolers a dietary tune-up.
